Advisory / Consultative Committees / Working Parties / Advisory Groups and Panels

These groups do not exercise formal delegated powers and their terms of reference are relatively informal. They are to consider matters pertinent to the purpose for which they were established and make recommendations to the appropriate Committee and/or the Authority.

The only specific terms of reference stated here are those which establish terms of operation broader than that which might be understood from the title of the group / party in question.

Community Consultation Forum Terms of Reference

1. To inform the public of events, projects, plans and policies in which the residents of Dyfed Powys will be interested.
2. To proactively engage with local communities in relation to the quality of police services they receive.
3. To provide an update on police performance from a senior officer.
4. To consult on budget proposals.
5. To consult of policing priorities and initiatives.
6. To receive updates on national initiatives and their impact on local policing.
