Have Your Say - Community Consultative Meetings

Your Opinion Counts!
Have your say and make a difference to your community.

Join Dyfed-Powys Police Authority, the Police Force and partners and help shape the priorities for the year ahead.

Throughout November the Police Authority will be holding a series of community consultative meetings, which will be attended by Members and Officers from the Police Authority and Senior Officers from the Police Force. Some of the meetings are joint meetings that will also be attended by senior representatives from Community Safety Partnerships and the Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service.

The meetings will give members of the public an excellent opportunity to shape the priorities for Dyfed-Powys. Local residents will be encouraged to have their say on a range of issues including:

  • Policing priorities
  • Police budget
  • Crime and disorder
  • Fire and Rescue Service Annual Action Plan (Ceredigion)

Mrs Delyth Humfyes, Chair of the Police Authority said:

“Your opinions are very important to us and I would encourage everyone to take the time to join us and have their say. Consultation is an extremely important. It is essential that we listen to the views and concerns of members of the public at this event so that we can ensure our priorities can be shaped to meet the needs of our communities.”

All members of the public who live or work in Dyfed-Powys are encouraged to take this opportunity to assist their Police Authority and partners to build a safe, just and tolerant society for those who work, live and visit the area.
