Children and Young People Participation Strategy
Dyfed Powys Police Authority has drafted a Children and Young People Participation Strategy and is currently circulating it to a number of key stakeholders for consultation. Independent Custody Visiting Association Selected as National Preventative Mechanism
The Minister for Justice has announced that the Independent Custody Visiting Association (ICVA) has been designated as one of the bodies to form the UK ‘national preventative mechanism (NPM)’ under the Optional Protocol to the UN Convention Against Torture (OPCAT).

Postponement of Carmarthenshire Community Consultative Meeting
Due to adverse weather conditions, a decision has been made to postpone the Carmarthenshire Community Consultative meeting which was scheduled for 7pm tomorrow evening (5th February) to Tuesday 10th February at 7pm in the Police Authority offices in Police Headquarters, Carmarthen.
Cancelation of Ceredigion Community Consultative Meeting
Due to adverse weather conditions, a decision has been made to cancel the Ceredigion Community Consultative meeting which was scheduled for 7pm on the 4th February 2009 at the Council Chamber in Penmorfa, Aberaeron.
