  3. To confirm the Minutes of the meeting held on 1st September 2010 (Circulated at the Police Authority meeting of the 20th September 2010).
  4. Matters arising.

NB. Members will note that the agenda is divided into “Matters for decision” and “Matters for information”. Members are reminded that “Matters for decision” require in-depth discussion, whilst “Matters for information” are presented purely for Members’ information. “Matters for information” need only be discussed if Members/Force wish to raise any pertinent points in relation to the item; if not, the item can be duly noted for the purposes of the minutes.

Matters for decision/scrutiny:

  1. To consider matters arising from the Community Engagement & External Relations’ Members seminar held on 30th November 2010.
  2. To consider the Police Authority’s Partnership Strategy (doc, 72kb).
  3. To consider the performance monitoring report of the Chief Executive in relation to the Independent Custody Visiting Scheme and a summary of the key issues raised and subsequent action taken by the Police Authority and Force (doc, 168kb).
  4. To consider the Police Authority consultation results for the preceding year in relation to establishing policing priorities (doc, 168kb).

Matters for information:

  1. To resolve that the press and public be excluded from the meeting during consideration of the following item of business pursuant to section 100A (4) of the Local Government Act 1972 as it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 14 of Part 4 of Schedule 12A to the Act.
  2. To consider the National Neighbourhood Policing Stock-take Report for Dyfed Powys Police (to follow).
  3. To receive the report of the Chief Executive in relation to Stop and Search / Stop and Account data (doc, 88kb).
  4. To receive an update on the Social Justice, Crime and Disorder Scrutiny Committees. (verbal item).
  5. To receive an update on progress made in accordance with the Authority’s Community Connection Strategy (doc, 72kb)
  6. To receive a report on the delivery of the Force’s Citizen Focus work programme, focussing on key priorities (verbal item).
  7. To receive an update on the Force’s engagement with Community Safety Partnerships and other partnerships (to follow).
